On the afternoon of December 18, the city's critical maternal and newborn death review conference organized by the Municipal Health and Family Planning Bureau and held by our hospital was held in the conference room on the third floor of our comprehensive building. Experts of city-level review team; heads of district and county health and health bureaus; directors of maternal and maternal and child care centers in Yintai District, Wangyi District, Yijun County, and Xinqu District; and chiefs responsible for review; chiefs of Yaozhou District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and chief health care section chiefs As well as nearly 40 people including obstetric and pediatric medical staff from various medical midwifery institutions participated in the review meeting.
In this review, in an objective, respectful science, and factual manner, representatives from 6 critically ill pregnant women and 15 neonatal deaths reported by medical institutions at all levels in the second half of 2017 were selected. 2 cases of critically ill pregnant women and 2 cases of neonatal death. Conduct in-depth analysis and discussion from admission history, symptoms, physical examination, related auxiliary examinations, diagnosis, treatment, rescue and other related links, affirm and summarize the successful experience of treatment, and put forward practical and feasible problems and deficiencies in the treatment process The relevant factors affecting neonatal death were identified, and intervention measures were put forward: first, to strengthen business learning, improve awareness and management of critical illnesses, and avoid adverse consequences; second, strictly implement the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, Improve the level of technical services; the third is to do a good job of managing the "five colors" of pregnancy risk and reduce postpartum and postpartum complications; the fourth is to exchange and learn between obstetrics and pediatrics, promote the use of new newborn asphyxia resuscitation techniques, and special diagnosis and treatment measures for special conditions Improving the treatment rate of asphyxiated children; Fifth, strengthen communication with patients and their families, enhance their coordination ability, and reduce the abandonment of treatment. Sixth, the records of medical documents must be rigorous, meticulous and comprehensive to reduce the occurrence of medical disputes.
In this review meeting, the review experts in our city gave full play to their strengths, put forward targeted intervention and improvement measures, and put forward constructive opinions on future work; clarified that critical maternal review and newborn death review will improve obstetric critical care. The rate and reduction of maternal and newborn deaths are of great significance, and play a strong role in improving the level of pediatric services and quality of services in the city's health care institutions.
